Frequently Asked Questions

What if I want script edits after the shoot?

Script edits result in higher costs because they require a second shoot, which can start at $1,500. To avoid this, we highly recommend you receive ALL necessary sign-offs before script completions, and keep your “approval loop” minimized.

How many words are in a 60-second script? A 90-second script?

Much depends on the vocal speed of the presenter but a rule of thumb is 125 words for a 60-second vignette and 200 words for a 90-second spot.

How do I send you my graphics and what can you use?

We provide a secure FTP site for upload and downloading of graphics and video. You can use practically any type of static or animation file, including pre-shot video.

Do I own the Video News Vignette™ once it is finished?

Yes. It's yours to use whenever and wherever you like.

Does output to high-def (HD) cost more?

No. All Video News Vignettes™ are shot in HD and can be downgraded to SD at your request.

Are there discounts for multiple Vignettes?

Yes! Please see our rates page.

No script fees? What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. We employ professional journalists and marketers for this very reason. Most script writing services (or outsourced marketing firms) would charge $1,000 for a professional, concise script. We include it as part of our service package.
